Co-Founder & Chief Inclusion & Rehabilitation Officer
Gayathri brings extensive expertise in Special Education, Counselling Psychotherapy, Parent Advocacy and Community Rehabilitation.At Samarthiya, she focuses on inclusion, rehabilitation and family-centred support, working with individuals, parents, schools and communities to promote participation, independence and meaningful inclusion. Her experience in the NGO sector further strengthens Samarthiya’s community outreach and rehabilitation initiatives.
Sumathi Srinivasan
Co-Founder & Chief Program Officer
Sumathi brings expertise in Special Education, Counselling Psychology, adolescent support and positive parenting. At Samarthiya, she leads program development and delivery, with a focus on counselling, learner support, family empowerment and inclusive interventions. She works closely with individuals, parents, caregivers and educational settings to design compassionate, practical and meaningful support programmes.
Deepika
Co-Founder & Chief Enterprise Development Officer
Deepika focuses on enterprise development, skill building and livelihood opportunities at Samarthiya. She works towards developing entrepreneurship and self-employment initiatives, practical skills such as culinary arts and handicrafts, and training programmes that help individuals discover their potential. She also builds partnerships with schools, NGOs, businesses and entrepreneurs.
Dr. Senthil Athiban
Co-Founder & Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer
Dr. Senthil Athiban brings expertise in Psychology, Counselling & Psychotherapy, Special Education, Acupuncture and Law, with a strong focus on holistic wellbeing, inclusion and individual empowerment. He contributes to Samarthiya’s counselling and wellness initiatives, strategic program development, innovation and partnerships. He also brings years of experience in the IT industry.
